Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; foxing, age-toning, mottling to woven cloth boards, minor edgewear to corners and spine ends; gilt title on spine dulled but clear and legible; green/gilt titling and decoration on front board shows some minor rubbing; illustrations and text very good throughout; previous owner inscription on front end page, dated 1897. From a private collection (NOT ex-library). Ships from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
