Revised edition. CLoth wraps in red with black linen spine, wraps fraying lightly at edgs, corner wear and small stain. Former owner's name in red ink on endpaper (Robert E. Moore, Nottingham 1964), with a few marginal marks. Pogson's esoteric perspective based on the system of psychology taught by Maurice Nicoll (following Gurdjieff and Ouspensky). Originally published in 1950, this edition combines Pogson's commentaries. From the publisher: "It would be surprising if Beryl Pogson's approach to Sakespeare did not anticipate my own - in essentials. Different wells, ame underground river. And I share her belief - that this river was the priority for Shakespeare too." Ted Hughes Poet Laureate. Coole Books, 1963,
